Art by Eysha ~ Drawings, Paintings...

Biography

I am a self-taught artist who took up art in 2002 after a long illness and it is the best thing I have ever done. I will tackle any subject and use most mediums and I love to do detailed work. My mediums of choice are graphite and watercolour.

I have exhibited in several local exhibitions and have artwork in several countries including New Zealand, Australia, Canada, Ireland and several states of America as well as London where I have a piece of my artwork in the collection of Prince Charles.

My qualifications include Special Needs Teacher, Paralegal and a Life Coach but my love is art. I am married with grown daughters and live at home with my husband in the North East of England. Snoozal, our Papillion also lives with us and sits at my side while I do my artwork.

My favourite artists are Joseph Mallord William Turner ( April 1775- December 19 1851) and Pierre-Joseph Rodoute (July 10 1759- June 19 1840).

I am happy to take on commission work and only require a large detailed photograph to work from so if you like my style please contact me to discuss your commissioned work. As my business cards says, 'Art is for live.', and it is because a beautiful piece of artwork not only looks beautiful on your wall but is treasured for life.

Best wishes, Eysha.
